MALLE London bosses have revealed their spin on battery-powered competition as they announce a new race for this year’s Malle Mile festival.
The Midnight Mile race will run at 21:00 this Saturday, 27 July, in what chiefs are calling an ‘electric sprint race, held under the cover of darkness, part race, part disco – a sonic and visual spectacle not to miss.’
Organisers have invited a number of new, concept and hand-built electric motorcycles to join in the off-road scrap, where the race track will pulse and the light and sound will move with the riders.
Registration is still open and while no rider or motorcycle has been turned away from the run-what-you-brung event yet, racers will need correct tyres for their specific races.
Over 450 bikes are set to compete in the weekend’s events – visit the Malle Mile site for details.
