MOTOGP bosses have revealed next year’s race dates for the second season of FIM Enel MotoE World Cup action.
With provisional dates now set, the championship looks to be visiting even more rounds than this year’s inaugural campaign with five countries and six rounds on tap.
The season will begin at the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto in early May before round as teams head for Le Mans and the French Grand Prix a fortnight later.
From there it’s off to the Netherlands and a new venue for the electrics at the TT Circuit Assen in late June, which replaces this year’s Sachsenring round on next year’s Cup calendar.
MotoE will then get back on track at the Red Bull Ring in Austria six weeks later before the summer break, with a double-header at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli to round out the year as the Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini hosts the season finale for the 2020 Cup.
FIM Enel World Cup 2020 provisional calendar:
Round 1: 3 May – Jerez
Round 2: 17 May – Le Mans
Round 3: 28 June – Assen
Round 4: 16 August – Red Bull Ring
Round 5: 12-13 September – San Marino
