ZERO Motorcycles is making the rounds with its new SR/F, and fans have one final chance to check out the new bike today on the final stop of its UK tour.
Last night, a prototype SR/F was on show at London’s famous Ace Café and this afternoon, the all-new powerhouse model heads for Birmingham.
West Midlands retailer Streetbike in Halesowen, which has been flogging Zeros for the past decade, is set to host the machine between 1pm and 4.30pm today.
“We’re delighted to be able to bring the all-new SR/F over to the UK for a whistlestop tour,” said Dale Robinson, Zero’s UK country manager. “We’ve had a phenomenal response from customers wanting to see the bike for themselves, and we’re delighted to be able to have a pre-production bike over from our European headquarters for a few days.
Unfortunately we won’t be able to get to all our dealerships with the bike, which is why we’ve chosen to go to Ace Café, which is one of the busiest biking hotspots in the country, while Streetbike is our longest serving UK dealer and one of our top performing dealers in Europe.”
While test rides won’t be available this week, Zero team members will be on hand to arrange them for interested parties ahead of next month’s production bike arrival in Britain.
Along with the showcase events, the electric firm has set up a few test days with some of its older models, including a learner legal Zero S 11kw, the Zero DSR ZF14.4 Black Forest Edition and the A2 compliant version of the Zero S ZF14.
The first of these taster sessions is set for Cannon Motorcycles in Witham, Essex this coming Saturday, 13 April, between 10.30am and 4pm.
