ZERO Motorcycles’ new SR/F model has begun doing the rounds with British dealers as it begins a country-wide test ride tour.
Electric enthusiasts and prospective buyers will be able to get a taste of the American firm’s newest machine for the next fortnight as the bike travels from Scotland to Devon and beyond.
And while anyone can sign up to have a go at the 110bhp SR/F, UK Country Manager Dale Robinson insists spaces won’t last long.
““Everyone who has ridden the new SR/F has commented on how impressive the experience has been,” he said. “There’s only one way to really understand what the SR/F is all about, which is why we’re taking to the road and letting people try it for themselves before our dealers’ demo bikes arrive in July.
“Places are on a first come, first served basis, and we expect there to be plenty of interest based upon the enquiries we have received.”
The tour kicked off today with a visit to Not Your Average Bikes in West Yorkshire before Zero chiefs head down to Devon tomorrow ahead of their final stop north of the border next Friday at their only current Scottish dealership.
